Iron Man 2026 – Volunteers Needed

At our April club meeting, members voted for Capel Riders to once again volunteer at Iron Man 2026.
Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, December 6th, from approximately 8:00am to 3:00pm, to help run several water stations for cyclists participating in the event.
We will also require a handful of volunteers on Saturday to assist with setting up the water stations ahead of race day.

Volunteering doesn’t just support Iron Man — it also helps raise funds for our club, as Iron Man donates to our social club in return for our assistance.
This opportunity is open to members and friends of members. The more volunteers we have, the easier the day will be for everyone, so feel free to bring a mate along and sign them up too.

The 2025 event was a great laugh, and most of last year’s volunteers have already put their hands up again for 2026.
